The project SMOB the Order of Engineers of Cosenza

As a testimony to the investment policies of the Ministry of Research and Education, on the 24/04/2013, was held at the headquarters of the Order of Engineers of Cosenza the presentation of the invitation MIUR "Start-Up" and of the notice MIUR "Detection of needs innovation within the public sector in the regions of convergence. "

The public notices relating to the programs and the investments of the Ministry of Research and Education have been presented in detail by dr. Fabrizio Cobis (linked by videoconference) - DG for the coordination and development of research of the Office of the Ministry of Education for the EU Operational Programmes community. On this occasion the project SMOB and the TESS project were presented to the personalities and to the public as a testimony for the importance and benefits that may result from loans granted by MIUR projects Social Innovation. At the end of the presentation have emerged interesting discussions that led, among other things, the idea of allowing users of the veichle pooling platform to take advantage of lanes previously assigned to just the lines of urban public transport in the city of Cosenza. Such a practice would move further for reaching the project objectives and to comply with the global best practices put in place in countries such as Sweden, Norway, USA, etc.. In addition to the dr. Cobis, were present:

Eng. Menotti Imbrogno (President of the Order of Engineers, Cosenza),
Eng. Alessandro Astorino (Director and co-ordinator of the Innovation Commission of the Order of Engineers, Cosenza),
Prof. Giuseppe De Rose (City of Cosenza Councillor),
Eng. Antonio Cosma (Coordinator of the Work Group "Innovando" of the Order of Engineers, Cosenza),
Prof. Riccardo Barberi (Technest and delegate for relationships with enterprises at the University of Calabria)
